Smartphone Guide available in additional languages - among others, there is now also a Ukrainian translation provided

For our museum guide for the smartphone, which is available free of charge in various languages, we can now offer additional language versions (Ukrainian, Estonian, Russian). In recent months, many visitors have asked for information about the Dom-Museum in Ukrainian and Russian. Unfortunately, it took some time to find native speakers who were confident enough to do the translations. We are very pleased to finally be able to publish translations for Ukrainian and Russian.

Для нашого музейного путівника для смартфона, який доступний безкоштовно різними мовами, тепер ми можемо запропонувати додаткові мовні версії (українська, естонська, російська). В останні місяці багато відвідувачів просили надати їм інформацію про Кафедральний музей українською та російською мовами. На жаль, потрібен був певний час, щоб знайти носіїв цих мов, які були б достатньо впевненими, щоб зробити переклади. Ми дуже раді, що нарешті можемо опублікувати переклади українською та російською мовами.

Путівник можна завантажити прямо тут, на нашому сайті (на кожній сторінці за допомогою кнопки з прапорами країн) або просто на вході до музею: просто відскануйте розміщений QR-код, оберіть потрібну мову та запустіть завантаження на власному телефоні.

Путівники для смартфонів – це PDF-файли, які можна використовувати на всіх смартфонах. Використання дуже просте і зрозуміле.

With the help of native speakers who have volunteered their translations, versions have now been created in nineteen languages. In addition to the new translations mentioned above, these include Danish, English, French, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Spanish, Turkish, Chinese and, of course, German. In addition, we were able to realise an opp Platt version with the Institut für Niederdeutsche Sprache (INS).

How do I get the guide? The guide can either be downloaded right here on our website (on every page via the button with the country flags) or easily at the museum entrance: Simply scan the posted QR code, select the desired language and start the download on your own phone.

The guides for smartphones are PDF files that can be used on all smartphones. The use is very simple and self-explanatory.

In addition to the smartphone versions, we also offer selected translations as flyer versions for printing .
